The Cigar Man – Originally a strong voice for order, this mysterious ex-history major has given up all hope for Madison, retreating into a grim quest for coffee.
Brooks – One of the few remaining believers in “The Sconnies,” a fabled tribe living on Picnic Point surviving on Spotted Cow. Brooks follows The Cigar Man with ferocious loyalty, a courageous heart, and a 10 gauge shotgun.
The Great Brother – King of the Greeks, rules most of Langdon street. His kingdom and his heart were once united with the Coastie Queen.
The Coastie Queen – Presides over Statesider, the area of Langdon claimed during the first Coastie-Greek war, and an elite army of BMW driving, northface-clad women.
The Hipster Tribe – A vicious group of nomads who pillage Madison’s survivors for thrift store items. Most have lost the ability to speak English, instead communicating through scraps of indie-electronica lyrics.
